In 1976 Walter Lilly began a relationship with GSK, that evolved into us becoming a key player in the science and higher education construction sector.
Over the years we have worked on a large number of laboratory new build and refurbishment projects for key pharmaceutical companies and some of the nation’s most prestigious universities including Oxford, Imperial College, UCL, Sussex and Surrey.
We have refurbished chemistry and biology laboratories for Eli Lilly; virology containment and other specialist facilities; a Learning Resource Centre and a Food Store facility for Kingston University; and a Biosciences Innovation Centre at Queen Mary and Westfield College in Whitechapel. We are framework contractors for DEFRA APHA, Weybridge and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. We have also undertaken other high containment and GMP contracts for a wide range of higher education, life science and pharmaceutical manufacturing clients. We are currently designing and building our largest project to date for the Medical Research Council, the London Institute of Medical Sciences.
